The striking rise of the South Sudanese models on the global stage is bringing a positive impact to East Africa. Over time West African models such as Nigerians and Ghanaians have been the major African Countries dominating the global stage.
But with the recent new test for a different skin type by high fashion and commercial brands such as Dior, Fendi, Gucci, Valentino, and Bluberry among others, the light seems to, fortunately, fall on the south Sudanese models.
Currently, some modelling agencies, most especially across Africa are currently aware of this shift in demands. Soonest, we might expect a tight availability of South sudanese models as model scouts and bookers are tirelessly looking for these faces to represent in the international modeling industry.
During the just concluded New York, London, Milan and Paris fashion week for Men and Women, we were able to spot more than 30 South Sudanese Models, some of which are new faces.

Currently represented by Skimmer Models Africa and IMG, Mary modelled for Miu Miu, Lavin, Valentino, Hermes, corpeni, Chloe, Versace, Dries Van Noten, and Saint Lauren in the just concluded Paris Fashion Week.
