In the good spirit of New York fashion week season 23, the prestigious luxury clothing brand “Fendi Baguette” marked her 25th year of valuable existence on earth at Midtown Manhattan’s Hammerstein Ballroom in a star-studded Fashion Week extravaganza on Friday.

Fendi an Italian Fashion house was launched in 1926 by Adele and Edoardo Fendi in Rome as a fur and leather shop. that produce leather shoes, perfumes, ready-to-wear, fur, accessories and just any things fashion for luxury.
In 1997, Fendi birthed forth her luxury baguette bag which was designed by Silvia Venturini Fendi, with the hope that it will revive the then-failing brand’s image, as Fendi was said to be losing relevance at that time. The hope this “Baguette bag’ brought is valued by Fendi greatly and was made known to the public by creative director who said the creation (Baguette) deserves its own celebration. This was made possible with the 25th year’s birthday celebration in NYFW. Although Fendi is an Italian brand, it chose to celebrate at NYFW because according to them, New York is the place where Fendi Baguette’s status as a pop culture was solidified.

The close of the celebration show was done by the 90’s Iconic supermodel, Linda Evangelista. As well as Then emerged the designers, Silvia Venturini Fendi and Kim Jones alongside Marc Jacobs himself and Venturini Fendi’s daughter, Delfina Delettrez who emerged after the lit up of the large mirror backdrop coupled with an ovation.
