5 Male Stars from West Africa gracing International Fashion industry

Gone are those days when modeling was only for women and in extreme cases only for European or American models. However, from the inception of modeling as a profession by Fredrick Haute in the 1800s, Modeling has experienced a drastic change from the initial stage.

A change from being meagrely paid, to being paid thousands of dollars for modeling gigs; a change from being disrespected because you are a model, to being globally celebrated and valued; a change from modeling agencies accepting only white models , to accepting models from different races all over the continent and a change from the industry accommodating only female models to expanding its niche to male models and even transgender models. In this male models have taken the bull by the horn, embracing the privilege, and are currently hitting the international fashion runway and top notch brands.

From male models walking the runways of Louis Vuitton, Dior, Saint Laurent, Stefan Cooke, Daniel Fletcher, Robyn Lynch, and Amiri To mention a few; to being featured in vogue,System Magazine Cap 74064 Magazine, Essential Homme,  WMagazine, and many more. Male models are slowly taking over.
